I was amazed and inspired after seeing the Procedural Lake House by Anastasia and the Shanty Town by Marina (They are really awesome if you guys haven't checked them out yet).
This is a very challenging subject but I manage to get through after watching and learning a bunch of tutorials. In the span of 2 months with no coding skill or Houdini skill, I create probably my proudest work to date. Like the Shanty Town, I combine a little bit of traditional assets making into my procedural favela. The doors, windows, roof props, hangers, and air condition were all created traditionally.
After finishing making my digital asset in Houdini. I brought it into UE4 and within 2 hours I created the scene from scratch even though Houdini engine in UE4 still quite buggy. Definitely my most challenging project to date. Houdini just a really tough program to learn but it's also really powerful and totally worth it
